Vernon Initial Assessment for Plan Conformance
 

HPA completed an Initial Assessment for the Township of Vernon of the impacts of conforming to the Highlands Regional Master Plan. The Initial Assessment explored the extent to which the Township’s plans and ordinances would need to be revised in order to meet the minimum threshold of protection under the Regional Master Plan.  The report also explored the impacts of conformance with the Council on Affordable Housing requirements and related costs for conformance.  Following completion of the Initial Assessment, HPA completed a petition to the Highlands Council for Basic Plan Conformance for the Township’s Preservation Areas.
